With a background rooted in architectural studies and a specialization in Architecture, Environmental Arts and Design, Aurel Garceava is the visionary behind The Pixel Gaze.
About Aurel
His journey began with the tactile beauty of hand-drawn plans and evolved into a mastery of digital space and 3D visualization. Over the years, Aurel Garceava has combined architectural precision with emotional sensitivity, crafting spaces that speak through light, form, and atmosphere.
For nearly a decade, he collaborated closely with California-based luxury designer Oliva Villaluz, contributing to prestigious projects such as The Bear & Star Restaurant in Los Olivos, Fess Parker Winery, the Fess Parker Restaurant, and the Santa Barbara Yacht Club — a delicate renovation that preserved the original soul of the space while infusing it with a fresh and refined aesthetic. Together, they also worked on Brick Barn Winery, CaesarStone, and numerous other residential projects, high-end interior concepts, and presentations for custom-made furniture pieces.
Aurel’s experience includes a collaboration with an investor for a luxury resort in San San Beach, Jamaica — a tropical development featuring 10 private villas, a restaurant, spa, reception area, upper pool, and clubhouse. After spending nearly nine years in Cyprus, he contributed to various residential and public projects, including involvement in the Morphou Municipality Competition for a 2,122 sq.m cultural center in Strovolos, Nicosia. His international reach extended to Japan, where he was part of a project involving a 16-story building with a train station integrated at the second floor — a bold and visionary urban solution. From private homes in the U.S. and Europe to civic spaces and hospitality landmarks, Aurel brings a deep understanding of both narrative and nuance — creating visuals that feel, breathe, and inspire.

Being trained as Designers in Architecture and Environmental Arts means we understand not just how to build, but why something should exist in the first place.
